Presented by: Dr. Carmen Battaglia
Dr. Carmen Battaglia is a renown breeder, author, AKC Delegate and Professor. His vast knowledge and research on the effects of Early Neurological Stimulation has been published in the Journal of Veterinary Behavioral Science. We are honored to have him present at Magellan Planning Group.
The events following 9/11 and the subsequent attacks by ISIS in Brussels, Boston, Las Vegas and New York created the shortage of working dogs needed to protect the United States. The countries throughout the world are buying up the supply of best detection dogs which results in the shortage in the supply. After the Senate Hearings of 2017 and the request that AKC get involved, an AKC Task Force was formed. In this seminar, Dr. Battaglia will discuss the need for and importance of these working dogs, as well as their breeding and the special training required to help keep the United States safe.
