Blake joined Magellan Planning Group in 2006 and became a partner in the firm in 2016. He studied Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Blake's responsibilities include research and analysis, coordinating investments and account management, coordinating investment committee meetings, preparing retirement financial plans, and researching and optimizing customized asset allocation models for individual client accounts.
Blake has passed the Series 7 General Securities Representative, Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law and Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor Law Examinations. He holds Georgia Life and Health insurance and variable insurance licenses. He is a Registered Representative at Cetera Advisor Networks, LLC.
Blake enjoys higher mathematics, astronomy and organic gardening. He has been involved in personal investing since the early 90's. Blake is native to Atlanta and a proud father of twin daughters.
